Equipe de gestion
The management team is entirely dedicated to SEIEF. It is composed of 4 experienced professionals (including 3 senior partners) with the main following strengths:
- industrial expertise in the infrastructure sector,
- ability to originate transactions through close relationships with large industrial companies, banks and advisors active in the infrastructure sector,
- expertise in structuring financing packages, contractual schemes and risk management,
- ability to execute transactions backed by its experience in the analysis of equity investments and negotiation skills for the execution of such transactions,
- integrated team spread over the main targeted countries enabling a sound knowledge of local aspects.
Aule de Bournet
Founder of SEIEF and EPIM, Aule is an expert in financial risk management, advisory services related investments and structuring financial transactions for institutional investors, more particularly in the utilities sector.
Before joining SEIEF, he was a Director at Ecofin Limited (fund manager based in London and regulated by the FSA) in charge of risk management and derivatives investment activities.
Prior to joining Ecofin in 1998, Aule was Vice President at General Re Financial Products Group in London, the financial risk management subsidiary of General Re Corporation of the U.S., where he designed and structured risk management strategies for European companies utilising swaps, options and insurance contracts. From 1978 to 1989, he was an investment banker in the capital markets departments of Continental Illinois Bank, NatWest Investment Bank and, latterly, UBS Securities in London.
Graduate from the Geneva University in commercial and industrial sciences.
Founder of SEIEF and EPIM, Francois has an industrial developer profile in the infrastructure sector (water, energy, health, waste and telecoms ) acquired particularly at Compagnie Générale des Eaux and thereafter at Vivendi where during more than 10 years, he has been in charge of the development and operations management of large projects in this sector either as member of the Financial Management Group or either as CFO or CEO for these activities.
Before he has acted as a consultant within the MID Mercer firm specializing in strategy advisory services and has worked as a Vice President for IDI (Institut de Développement Industriel, at the time a public entity and one of the biggest private equity players in France).
He holds a large international experience with inter alia various assignments in Italy, Spain and the United States.
Graduate from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP 75) and from the Paris University II (Law).
Christophe has proven experience in structured finance, project finance and mergers and acquisitions, especially in France, Italy and the European utilities and infrastructure sectors.
Before joining SEIEF, he worked for 13 years within the Investment Banking Division of Deutsche Bank with various senior positions held in London, Paris and Frankfurt. He has originated and executed a large number of deals with a main focus on the European energy and utilities sector.
Graduate from the Rome University-La Sapienza (Laurea Economics) and Executive Master from the Stern Business School - New York University (Finance).
Christophe has developed an expertise in the financial and contractual struturing of infrastructure projects when working for large industrial companies.
Prior to joining SEIEF, he worked for 5 years with Alstom working on structuring transportation deals and 3 years with Bouygues, involved in the bidding for and managing of large construction projects (mainly metros, railways based in Europe, Middle-East, Asia and Central America).
He graduated from l’Ecole Polytechnique and l’Ecole des Mines de Paris and has obtained an INSEAD MBA.
